The victories keep rolling in

Since I posted about my ridiculous live sports win streak back in January, my teams have continued to do nothing but win with me in person.

I've posted two more Cavalier wins at the Q; an easy win over the Clippers on Groundhog Day with Nick in attendance as well, plus a victory this Sunday over the new-look Bulls. Book me for 5-0 on the season.

Saw Cleveland State use a dominant 2nd-half run down the stretch (14 straight points, I think) to claim their 19th win on the year and get coach Gary Waters his 200th career victory. Two quickies from that game:
1) One guy I went to the game with asked along the way what CSU's mascot name was. This gentlemen happens to be a recent alum of CSU (answer: Vikings).
2) When my group went to buy tickets, the agent asked which team we were cheering for (I had on a Cleveland State t-shirt); we told him CSU and he plopped us down among Marist's visiting fans. Thanks, dude! Mark me down at 2-0 in the Wolstein.

Made a trip to see the Lake Erie Monsters hit the ice at the Q and went home a winner. The Monsters are one of the few clubs in my stable that aren't especially good (6th place of 7 in their division at gametime). This did not stop them from notching a 3-2 win courtesy of a third-period shorthanded goal. All they need to climb back into the playoff hunt is a little more of my support, it would seem.

Finally, I was one of the 17,000+ to attend the Cleveland Gladiators' franchise debut. Never mind last year's 2-14 debacle in Vegas; with me at the Q (I can't believe Q teams continue to charge me admission fees) they won their debut convincingly in a game that featured a TD pass on the first play from scrimmage to a guy named...wait for it...Andy.

Let the good times roll.
Also: big it up for Lance and Bucko for securing the Monsters and Gladiators seats

Let's hope your magic translates to this year's Tribe. My Cleveland win streak currently stands at seven.
